All fascinating things come to an end. So it was with
this flight of exception, a one after you never are quite
the same. I left with regrets the naval Skyraider
deprived of arrester hook for use in the French Armée de
l'Air which served with efficiency from Algeria to Chad
and always is hot in the heart of its generations of
pilots. MY 126949 finally, after storage was passed to
the Chad Air Force during April 1976 and continued with
its legendary strong airframe and engine its military
action...
