It was not quite easy, even some
10 years after the beginning of the French Strategic Air Force,
to see Mirage IV A nuclear squadrons in their various bases of
Avord, Cambrai, Cazaux, Creil, Istres, Luxeuil, Mont-de-Marsan,
Orange and Saint-Dizier. This formidable and
very performant machine, quite easy to pilot, was surely among
the best aircraft produced during XXth century.
Surely AL was an aircraft seen with a difference by its pilots:
according they liked or not the " 13 " number which was
the one given by manufacturer to this aircraft...
