Deceleration is very efficient with Jaguar and notably increased with drag chute. Remember that the type was designed to land on short and roughly prepared grass or sand surfaces. During a Paris Air Show this was demonstrated by a RAF machine of which the fore U/C leg just collapsed before cameras of journalists... Not ever good to demonstrate its natural qualities...
