Taking off, Mirage F1 04 in clean configuration with its reheated SNECMA ATAR 9K-50. It's with this machine that were carried the official operational tests during August 1971 with Commandant Alain Tretout and the then Captain Jean-Loup Chrétien who became some years later the first French astronaut to fly into space aboard the US Shuttle.
